N.Z. AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSN.
Excellent entries have been received for the N.Z. Amateur Athletic Association's 25th annual championship meeting, which takes place at the Basin Reserve next Saturday. Competitors have been entered by the various centres, and keen competition for the various championship ♦•vents Is assured. At the time of writing, the Wellington representatives have, not been chosen, but it is expected that the Wellington centre, as holders of the ShieUf, will be able l<> put a strong team In the lb-Id as the result ot the Wellington Provincial Championships, which are taking place at Master ton to-day. As the. whole of the proceeds of the championship meeting are to form a nucleus of a fund for the Wellington wounded soldiers and dependents, it Is anticipated that the N.'/A.A.A. will be ably supported by the public In its efforts to make this meeting a success.
