NEW THEATRE.
Macmahon and Donnelly's Pictures. There is _an exceptionalij^ fine programme now showing at Macniahon and Donnelly's ' C'ototinuous Ficture*^ at the New. Theatre. The bright particular 'star of 'the series is the remarkable' -drainagrapii 'Tatiher." The story is striklrigly sensational, and there is •' a, -fire scene realistic enough to form an excuse for calling oui the brigade. -There is a man wrongly accused anrl committed to prison on a -charge, of arson, at the instigation : of a "jealous rival m business. Nemesis, -however, comes to the aid, pf the victim, for he escapes from gaol, and, by a cuiious set of circumstances, is able to estajblish proof of his innocence. The Vitagraph dramas "The Red Barrier" and "Days of Terror" are well up to the highest ti'aditions of that company. "Jungle Scenes m Cochin China" is a travel subject, which is a l-evelation to those who have not been m the East. - The "kiddies," as usual, will be catered for by the addition of special pictures for them this (Saturday) afternoon.
