THE TOWN HALL.
The Dandies. In the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall, Mr. Branscombe's Pink Dandies entertain during the week a numerous and mirthful audience. Eleven accomplished artists make up a very capable coterie, rendering excellent items, and securing peals of laughter, and rounds of applause. Miss Rita Fitzgerald" achieved great popularity by her charming, songs, which she sang daintily and very distinctly. She rendered. "So Did Eve" and "Our Janey" originally, and was enthusiastically applauded, and recalled- many times;' Miss Peggy Ross and Miss Lily Fitzgerald acquitted themselves ably also m some beautiful songs. As a basso, Mr. Ford Waltham was worth . hearing. His irae singing of "Heavo, Heavo," and "Drinking" established him securely with the audience, who brought him forward on many occasions. As a comedian and dancer Mr.. Athol Tier proved a real surprise; he created . much laughter,' and as the "Spaniard" tie was easily the star turn of the evening. Mr. Tier is a 'very capable artist. ; Mr. George Edwards also proved very successful ■ and engaging as ' a comedian, as also di.l •Messrs. Frank Peachey and Robert Agnew. . . Mr ; Marshall Lawrence's singing of "Mandalay" vcreated a very favorable impression, and was loudly applauded".' This c6mpany~6f the Dandies is a very successful selection, and the entertainment. they provide is most amusing, versatile and accomplished. It is equal to that of the Red Dandies — which was the high-water mark of perfection. The Concert Chamber was packed every night of the' week.
