A thrilling dance, A killing glance— A capture ; A 'snowy glove, The pledge of love— O rapture. . A twilight shade, Where plans are made Delightful ; A fond embrace, A prying faceHow spitaful. A swift good-Bye,-' A stifled sigh, Conjecture ; A mother's room, A daughter's gloom tf A lecture. . " 11.
