Williamson will introduce to Wellington playgoe-.s his latest attraction,, the celebrated comedy, "Brewster's wita its wonderful yacht scene. The season,' which is ■ strictly limited to seven nights, will be , inaugurated at tJiel Opera House on Thursday next, February 6th. The new play lias run for 1 some hundreds of "nights m London, New -York, .and elsewhdi .<?.,. aiul has received the hallrmark of approval of those centres. "Brewster's Millions" is said to be the latest arid most famous of farce-comedies, and is admitted wherever it has hitherto been produced to "be one of the brightest, drollest, merriest, and most 'up-to-date comedies of recent years. It will be interpreted l>y Mr Williamson's New Comedy any, headed by the popular' young actor, Mr Thomas Kingston, and the favorite actress, Mrs Robert Brougli. Mr Kingston will appear m a type of character m which he has not previously been seen here, tftat of light comedy. As Monty Brewster, who sets • out to spend £200,000 m twelve months, m order to acquire another two' millions bequeathed under the will of a relative, Mr Kingston is said to have an • intensely humorous part. Mrs Brough will appear, as Mrs Mrs Dan De Mille, a society leader, who manages Monty's p;rest ; social functions promoted m order' to get rid of his money. . Others m the splendid cast will include Messrs J. B; Atholwood, Gregan McMahon, Cyril Mackay, Roland Staveley, .C. R. "Berkeley,- ■ T. W. Lloyd, Leonard Willey, Red°;e Carey, and Lawrence - Hardenge, and Misses Nellie Calvin, Helen Fcrgusson; Irby Marshall, Edith Lewis, and Mary Hungerfbrd. The critics m the cities so far visited are unanimous, m declaring' "Brewster's Millions to be the most handsomely, mounted piece Mr Williamson has yet presented to. his New Zealand patrons, and the yacht scene to be quite startling m its reality, and a triumph of stage mechanism.
