OPERA HOUSE.
"The Isle of Bong Bong." Pollard's juvenile combination have been playing to crowded houses all the week at the Opera House, and the manner m which the musical extravaganza "The Isle of Bong Bong" has been played is certainly an achievement worthy oE veterans. This musical comedy seems at first above juveniles, and certainly one or two of the characters as , played by the youngsters is incongruous, but the all-round excellence displayed more than makes amends. The juveniles have made a big hit m Wellington m particular, and m tackling the Bong Bong proposition Mr Pollard's youngsters ■ have shown what can be attained m theatrical art. "The Isle of' Bong Bong" excels m music, singing, and comedy generally, the scenery, the mountings, and everything pertaining to Stage craft is of an exceptional high order, and it is a matter of regret that the season is drawing to. a close, as to-night will be the last opportunity , Wellingtonians will have of witnessing the clever and talented combination. A special matinee, however, will be given this afternoon, when every member of the audience will he pretexted with-^a farewell souvenir, and this ..evening's" performance will be marked by a similar presentation.
