Under the direction of Allan Hamilton, Messrs Meynell and Gitnn have sent to New Zealand their latest powerful attraction— Miss Maud Hildyard and her powerful dramatic company, who will appear m the Opera House, Wellington, next Thursday m "A Warning to Women." Miss Hildyard will appear as Moira Kennion. Picturesque Irish scenery will give
brightness to a story m which the cast will also include Miss Geraldine Quin, Miss Violet Dene, Mb Steff McDonald, Mr Conray Wing- 1 field, Mr Boyd lrwiu, Mr L. Walshe, Mr Tracy Barrow, Mr Rutland Beckett, Mr W. Eovis and others. A great moral lesson is given m "A Warning to Women." m which Miss Hildyard (who is essentially a sympathetic actress with great emotional power) takes the character o£ Moira Reunion, who is addicted to the drink and morphia habit. The scene is laid m Ireland, and when a medical student, Dr. Dread (Mr James Lindsay), places Moira under, his hypnotic influence, the acting is said to be most realistic. Miss Hild--yard id well supported by a splendid company, with beautiful scenery and dresses. The box plan is at Holliday's, and early door day, sale tickets at Abel's, tobacconist.
