" Mother Goose."
The last four nights of "Mother Goose" are announced, and next Wednesday evening the old geeser, who denies any relationship with geysers at Rotorua, will take farewell of wet and Avindy Wellington, and though the nightly packed, houses testify to the wonderful hit made by Mr Williamson's pantomime still there are many m Wellington who have not yet paid their homage to the old girl, and they should do so without delay. The season closes next Wednesday evening, but a final matinee will be given on that afternoon. "Mother Goose" is a pantomime full of novelties. Right merrily from the opening chorus to the ringing down of the curtain do the various performers keep things going. Messrs Phydora, Shine, Wallace, Loydall, the donkeys and the horse. Misses Morgan, Godwin, the fairies and everybody have their various parts to maintain, and they do them well. In the fun line Messrs Phydora and Shine keep everybody convulsed, whilst everybody is enchanted by the wonderful "effects of and ballets and tableaux. There will be the usual matinee this afternoon. "Mother Goose" has had an extraordinary run m Wellington, and after closing here goes on to Dunedin.
