THEATRE ROYAL.
Fullers' Entertainers.
To strike the popular fancy and to retain the valuable approval of thea-tre-going patrons, is naturally enough the aim of all theatrical managements, and the manner m which! -Messrs Pullers' have retained' a hold on their patrons is the surest indication of the excellent standard of the nightly performances given at the •Theatre Royal. Air this week, the theatre has been filled with, highly delighted audiences, and; the programme submitted for their approval was of 1 an exceptionally higjh-class order, a programme comprised of star sensational and novel turns which' will be greatly improved on this evening. /To-night and following i nights the management intend to provide; a number of additional and artistic attractions, the chief of which is "The Robing of the Gods," which can be^ best described as ; a chaste and exquisite exhibition of rapid drapings with a ' single piece 6f cloth. The artistic poses, the expensive and delightful costumes, the superb music .incidental to this novel act, as portrayed >by Miss Ruby White and Mr .J.i E. Ward, makes this performance an epoch of the vaudeville stage. It is a performance that once witnessed is never again forgotten. Another new turn is that of Little Eileen O'Neill, a phenomenally clever childinstrumentalist, -and as exponents of physical culture and heavy-weight .lifting, Samson an>d'. Juno, the strongest man and woman m New Zealand ought to provide an exhibition that should :be interesting and educating. These artists will be supported by* the full strength of Pullers' popular organisation. A splendid and perfect array of vaudeville top-notchers is- at present holding the 'boards, and it is difficult indeed to single out any for extra or special "approbation. Dave Warne and Uillie Octavia are a pair of sketch artists who cannot fail to provoke mirth from a sphinx*. Raleigh and May are comedy wirewalkers whose daring feats are mat-* ters to marvel at. Misses Flo Weston, Kitty Delavale, Hilda Lane, Amy Blackie, Beattie McDonald, and Lucy Lavinia and Messrs *A. L. Cropp Percy Denton and Athas are all so well and ' favorably known that nothing can be said to enchance their reputations. The biograph pictures are interesting and amusing, and altogether the programme, can be correctly described , as one of the biggest and best put on the boards at the Royal. "Truth" will be greatly surprised if the Royal .is not filled every night next week.-
