Harry Rickards' Vaudeville Company.

Mr Harry Rickard's popular Vaudeville Company will open a season at the Opera House to-night. The com- ; pany is generally acknowledged to lie the strongest combination ever sent to the colonies by Mr Rickards. ,In the turns of King and Benson, and 'the Charlenes, the public will witness two of the best musical acts to be found m any variety theatre. When appearing, at the Empire, or Alhambra Theatres m London, both teams have lavariaWy been "starred" by the management. Mr Fred Russell, the famous ventriloquist, is a familiar name to all th-Ose who keep m touch with the music <hali world of London, while Miss Cassie Walmer, "the dusky Princess," whose delightful singing and dancing m the principal New York theatres soon secured her a foremost place, will make her first appearance m this colony-^ The company also includes such Australian favorites as Miss Ada Sadler (soprano), Messrs George Dean (with a new budget of descriptive songs), Rochf ort and Hart, and a number of other performers who have already established themselves m the goodi opinion of New Zealand audiuiii^* 1 -, One of the most interesting, numbvjiS on the 1 programme will be a largo selection of the very latest biograph pictures..
