Mr Alfred Herbert; Adams, whose misfortunes through sickness, have 'been several times referred to m these columns, desires to most sincerely thank that Island Bay gentleman for his kind, offer of a. room rent free, but states .that as his wife is now m a permanent situation; and they have taken a cheap room near her work, he does not like to upset existing arrangements. The Lualla Troupe of acrobats has offered to give a benefit to the Adamses and it will take the form of a gymnastic and variety enterment, at His Majesty's. Theatre on Wednesday (next) March. 6. Tickets, Is, can be. obtained at August's, tobacconist, Molesworth-street, or from any member of the v club. Messrs Fuller have kindly lent the theatre free of cost. The piano has been kindly lent for the occasion by the Dresden Co.
