MAX MEILSCH.
Ernest Carl Max Meilsch, charged with tomahawking his unfortunate wife, and who, after arrest, attempted his own destruction, is now well enough to stand his trial for attempted murder. He came before Dr. McArthur, S.M., at the Wellington Court last Monday with his throat and wrist, swathed m thick bandages. The victim of his hacking proclivities is, however, ■■ far. from well, though she may be ' well, enough to attend the Court next Monday, which day the case stands adjourned till.
