John Albert Roberts was sentenced in the Police Court to six months’ imprisonment, cumulative, on each of two charges, for issuing valueless cheques totalling £56 Ifir., and unlawfully converting to his own use a car valued at £229, the property of the Williams Rental Cars, Ltd. The accused had previously* been on probation for two years, and had received two years’ prison for false' pretences.
