GOOD AUDIENCES
FOR NEW PUBLICITY THEATRE VISITORSPLEARED. Good audiences of travellers from overseas! greeted the first week of the new Government Publicity Theatre on' Lambton quay. The tiny auditorium was well filled, and the average attendance has been about 17 per day. Three programmes have been running, each being screened for two days, and complimentary references to the department’s initiative and thoughtfulness ljave been made by overseas visitqrs. Each day the audiences grow, am] on Tuesday Zone Grey and bis party attended tfio theatre, and watched the screening of films of the Dominion's beauty spqfs. The general opinion ;s that the theatre oannot fail to be of great assistance to yisjtors mapping out tours of th® country.
