APPEAL TO SPORTS BODIES The radio for the hospital fund committee met last evening. Air W. Stuart Wilson occupied the chair. The honorary secretary reported that Messrs &, Wood and Son had commenced the preparation of two htty feet masts to support the receiving aerial. It is proposed to meet Dr Wilson, the medical superintendent of the Wellington Hospital, next Tuesday for the purpose of surveying the wards of the main hospital building with a view to drawing up specifications for the purpose of calling tenders for installation of the central receiving set, headphones and wiring for the 250 patients in that building. It was decided to communicate with all sports and athletic bodies in Wellington district and Hutt valley, asking for more help and support to sesur« further donations to the fund. The hon. secretary (Mr I. AI. Levy) reported having received the following subscriptions to the fund: —Previously acknowledged, £530 14s; staff Public Trust Office. £4 8s; staff James Smith, Ltd., £3 ss; W. D. and H. O.
