The scores in the third round of the British open golf championship are;—Watrous, 69, 215; Jones, 73, 217; Taylor, 71, 224; Jurado, 74, 227; Charles Whitcombe, 75, 232; Howard, 76, 234. Compston was disqualified for insisting on playing all shots lying out of bounds.
