“TAMAROA” AND “MATAROA” UNDER SHAWfsAVILL FLAG. Australian and N.Z Cnblo Association LONDON, April 16. It has been arranged that the steamers Sophocles and Diogenes shall be employed in the Shaw, Savill Company’s New Zealand service, commencing in the early autumn. The vessels will be renamed Tamaroa and Mataroa, and will probably be converted to oil-burners. • The Aberdeen Line does not propose to replace them at present, but will use two third-class passenger steamers in the Australian trade.
