PRAISE FROM THE NORTH
INSPECTION OF PAVING WORK. While those at home criticise, praise for tho bitumen work of the City Council comes from the north. A letter was read at vhe council lasv evening from Mount F.den stating that members of the works committee who visited Wellington recently were very pleased with tho attention paid to them, and were struck with the'Work they saw in progress. A resolution of felicitation wa® enclosed.
