FRENCH MINISTER RESIGNS TO HELP HTS LEADER. Reuter's Telceraiu (Received April 9, 8.55 p.m.) PARIS, April 8. M. Malvy, Minister for the Interior, has resigned his office, on the ground of ill-health. Speculation is active regarding the reason for M. Malvy’s resignation, which it is ascertained was on account of ill-health. His reasons are contained in liis letter of resignation, which has not yet been published. In announcing his resignation, M. Malvy said the attacks mkde upon him were of such a nature as to weaken the. support which M. Briand had the right to expect from him. Moreover, he was precluded from replying suitably to the attacks so long as he held a portfolio.
