The fact that the prospect of th* ultimate extinction of horses in Europe has hitherto been rendered nugatory by public interest in horse-racing, has suggested the tabling of a private bill proposing that the totalisator be provided by nutodromes in the future, thereby bringing in large sums to the State, and also encouraging the motor industry and motor racing.
