BANDIT'S MURDER STORY The Italian bandit Collarich. ■who led the Black Fla* Gang and admitted most of the charges, including five murders, made against him. was condemned to imprisonment for life at Pola. Thanking the judges, he asked that the period of solitary confinement be extended by four years. During the trial Collarich graphically described the gang’s activities in lstria. Ho had to murder the women, he said* because they hid their money and tin* was precious. Collarich blamed himself for being a cinema enthusiast. He was arrested at a Trieste cinema house, having two revolvers, a dagger and a powerful bomb in his possession.
