STRAIGHTENING AND WIDENING proposed. The Cl|y Council decided last evening to instruct ■ the' engineer to prepare a repdrt as- soon ae possible regarding the straightening and widening of the Main Karori road from Sydney to The Rigi in order that it may bo laid down in bitumen. . 7 The council also decided that the necessary preparations be made for tho various paving gangs'wken their work is completed this summer to be transferred
to such loan works as the straightening and widening of the Main Karori road.
