Newland), assisted by Bro. C. H. Anderson, P.D.P.. installed the following officers: —J.P.A., Bro. A. Pay; A.D., Bro.. J. Fenton: V.A.. Bro. J. Smith; 0.G., Bro. W. Winhall, P.A.; 1.G., Bro. Wilmsliurst; secretary, Bro. H. Nicholson; treasurer, Bro. F. Hartmann; A. Bros. C. SVilmshurst and N. Portman; V.A.B’s., Bros. E. Waters and R. Chamberlain: musician, Bro. C. Mills. The Grand Guardian made the following presentations: A P.A. collar and framed diploma to Bro. W./Winhall, and a lodge jewel to Bro.' E. F. Fairbrother, P.D.P. Amid applause the brothers suitably responded; The Masterton Jbaresters’ ■ Lodge last night elected the following officers for the ensuing year:—C.R., Bro. A. Bold; 5.C.8., Bro. G. L. Scrivener; S.W.. Bro. F. Pinkney; ' J.W., Sister I. Baker; S.R., Sister. P. Davies; J.B. Sister E. McKenzie; treasurer, Bro’. w. Candy; secretary, Bro. A. Candy; delegate to U.F.S.D. Board, Bros. G. Selby and W. J. F. Cairns. Mr J. P. -Prentice has resigned as a director of the Workers’ Mutual Ben. efit Building Bociety aa he is leaving the district. At the girls’ sports in 1 connection with the Wairarapa High School, the senior championship was won by D. Moncrieff with 14 points, E. Ferguson being second with 10 points. B. Jackson won the junior championship with 13 {mints, M. Lena being second with 10 points. E. Ferguson won the 100 and 220 yards senior championship, M. Lenz the 100 yards and 220 yards junior championships; E. Ferguson, the hop, step, and jump:- E. Donald, tho 220 yards walk; M. Donald, the senior high jump; B. Jackson, the junior high jump; D. Moncrieff, the --enior long jump championship; and B. Jackson, the junior long jump chamoionship.
