SOUT^AFRICANS’ TOUR REPLACEMENT OP INJURED t PLAYERS. Jacob, Auckland; no the recommendation of the Auckland Association. The Question of replacement of injured players again brought up and it was decided lo allow a remit to be brought fjTvi&vit by Auckland Association at the annual meeting, although most of the members were of the opinion that to allow replacements would be contrary to the rules of the English Football AssoMr F. Campbell thought Mr Skerrett's opinion should be obtained on the rule that the game should be "played by 11 men.” Seven associations replied expressing willingness to give guarantees in' connection With the proposed South African team's tour. No further reply had been received from, the South African F.A. — A sub-committee was appointed to deal with the reply wlien received. Australian Football Association wrote agreeing that the South African, tour should he extended to Australia. Several proposals were received from various associations suggesting names for the handsome silver trophy presented by the English Football Association. It was unanimously, decided to call it "The FoofbalJ Association Trophy."
