On Wednesday afternoon at SK Barnabas Chureb. Fendnlton, of Ella, second daughter of Mrs Prins and the late Dr. H. H. Prins, of Christchurch, was married to Perry, second son of Mr and Mrs P. S. Whitcombe, of New Plymouth. The Rev. H. S. Ix?ach officiated. The organist was Mr L. Strachnn. A profusion of pale pink and white flowers decked the church. Mr Harvey Prins jrave away his sister.

The recent visit to Aberdeen of tho King and Queen is the second occasion in 275 years on which a reigning King of the British Isles has paid a ceremonial visitation to that city.
