ARBITRATION COURT

SITTINGS AT CHRISTCHURCH CLOSING FOR CARNIPAL WEEK. Per Press Assooiation. CHRISTCHURCH, November 3. Before commencing the business of the Arbitration Court this morning, Mr Justice Fraaer said that it would be necessary to split the schedule. The court would sit till Friday of this week and then, for various reasons—(laughter)—there would be a break of a week and the court would resume its sittings here on Tuesday, November 17th, for a further week. 'Mr W. Scott (employers’’representative) jocularly suggested to His Hondur that he had better advertise the fact that he would not be here next week.
