CHURCH REUNION
FREE CHURCHES HOPEFUL THEY AWAIT GOD’S WILL. (Sy<Jne» "Sun" Cable.) LONDON, September 23. The council of the Free Churches has proposed a breathing space for discussions directed towards a reunion of the church, in which all questions involved will be considered and pondered. The council points out that the suspension of the meetings at Lambeth does not indicate a rupture of friendly relationship or prevent a resumption when God's Spirit seems to invite the step.
