Per Press. Association. CHRISTCHURCH, September 24. At the inquest concerning the death of Marjorie Kathleen Halligan, the fourteen-months-old daughter of H. Halligan, the mother said 6he wa6 preparing a hot hath on Monday for one of her children and went into the scullery. When she came back she found that the child had upset the water, and was lying >in it. The child was attended by a doctor, hut died this morning. A verdict was returned that deceased died from shock arising from having been accidentally scalded.
