SECTIONS IN DEMAND. Before a large attendance of the public Messrs S. George Nathan and Co. submitted to public auction on Wednesday afternoon at their rooms. Customhouse quay, the Makara. Boy subdivision, comprising 52 sections, and 13 were sold nnder the hammer, as follows: —Ixit 8, .£IOO, Mr M. G. Monk; lot 33, £BS, Mr Charles Smith; lot 34, £BO, Mr W. L. Beech; lot 14, £IOO, Mr S. Smith; lot 51, £SO, Mr A. P. Hawkins; lot 27, £IOO, Mr S. Smith; lot 28, £IOO. Mr S. Smith; lot 50, £SO, Mr B. G. Harkness; lot 46. £35, Mr A. P. Hawkins: lot 36, £BS, Mr M. G. Monk; lot 30, £IOO, Mr O. R. Mills; lot 87, £7O, Mr C. D. Neilsen; lot 35, £7O, Mr A. R. Brockenshire.
