They j demolished the doors, windows, and 1 furniture, some of the members esicaping wounded. f lhe Military Governer and the Modaress tried to pacify the mob without success. The demonstrations continue. The French airman Nogue who is (attempting to fly iiom Le Bourpi;et to Teheran, is held up at Constantinople [by the Turkish authorities, who refuse [to permit him to fly over Samsoun, Sivas, and Adana. . Eleven cases of cholera with one death occurred at Manila in the last 24 hours. It is believed that scores 1 of other cases have not been reported. oeuvres at Bristol makes a total of seven deaths in the Royal Air Force in fife weeks. Flying-Officers G. Thorpe and P. Cox were practising landing, when, at a height of 400 ft, tlieir wings touched. Both crashed to the ficid. Thorpe was killed instantly, and Cox died in half an hour. Two armoured trains, jiarticipating in the Estlioniafi army manoeuvres, collided. Five men were killed and ten injured.
