UNPLEASANT CONDITIONS (Acting Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday) are (or westerly strong to gale, with a southerly tendency in the south, and squally, changeable weather generally. Heavy showers may be expected in districts with a westerly aspect, and flooded rivers on the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. Barometer unsteady. B. V. PEMBERTON.
