SCHOOL TEACHER CHARGED. Yesterday Detective McLennan arrested a young school teacher named Leonard Arthur Locksly Feilder on a charge of attempting to hurn down the Clifton Terrace School on Monday night * He will appear before the Magis trate’s Court this morning,

In the course of his address to the Wellington Accountant Students’ Society on Friday evening Mr Feil mentioned that the tabulating and sorting machines in the office of the Government Statistician had been working 22 hours a day for every day excepting Sundays during the last four years. Mr Fell urged that greater use should he made of machines BUch as these in the efficient control of stores, in commercial houses and Government departments generally.
