This is from a print of the well-preserved negative of the old coach which was used to convey the gold to the bank in Dunedin in the aixtiea, in the day* of the gold rush in Central Otago. The coach was drawn by four horses,and was accompanied by mounted police or military. Thu picture showa a conaiderable quantity of gold being loaded on to 'the coach.
