MINE MANAGER FINED. Per Press Association, GREYMOUTH, September 22. Reserved decision, was. given by Mr Lowry, S.M., this morning in a case m which Walter Leitch, manager of the Dobson mine, was charged with omitting to secure adequate ventilation iii the mine on June 18th and 19th last. He waa convicted- on the first charge and fined £5 with costs, and on the second was convicted without penalty, and ordered ■to • pay the costa.
