ADDRESS AT WANGANUI REFORM PARTY CRITICISED. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, September 22. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr G. Forbes, M.P.) addressed a well-attend-ed meeting in the Opera House last night, in reply to the recent speech by the Hon. A. D. McLeod, Minister for Lands. Mr Forbes criticised the Reform Party, and dealt severely with its action over the fusion negotiations. The speaker was given a very attentive hearing, and was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence. The meeting also voted its confidence in Mr Veitch as member for the district.
