LOCAL BOXING

WILLIAMS AND GORNIK IN TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. A final reminder is Riven to followers of boxing of to-night's tournament at the Town Hall. With a 10-round professional contest between such high-class exponents as Williams and Gornick, preceded bv four amateur preliminaries among really clever exponents, there is every prospect of patrons being treated to an exceptionally fine evening’s sport. • It is seldom that exponents of the standing of Williams and Gornick can be induced to come to the Dominion, und local enthusiasts may be considered fortunate in being provided the opportunity of seeing them in action. The box plan will close this afternoon, and in view of the prospect of a crowded house, intending patrons who have not yet secured tickets will be well advised to do so during the day.
