BELL PLAYS BRILLIANTLY. Pres. Association. ROTORUA,'September 18. * The Rotorua open golf tournament concluded to-day, Bell (Hamilton) defeating Kusabs (Rotorua) by 11 and 10. Bell played brilliant golf in the last half-match, doing the first half round in 33, completing in 72, which is under bogey. A feature of the tournament was the semi-final between Bell and Goss and liusabs and-Rex George. Bell won at the 18th green, and Kusabs at the 19th. Bell’s driving was a magnificent exhibition of accuracy and length. LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP " September 18. Mrs Sclanders (Wellington) to-day defeated Miss S. Watson (Manawatu) by 8 up and 7 to play in the final of the Hawke’s Bpy ladies’ golf championship.
