The visiting Qneenland League team meets New Zealand in the second test, at Newtown Park this afternoon. ‘ The Queenslanders have earned the reputation of being great sportsmen, and clean players, and are described as giving a brilliant and sparkling exhibition of tlio League code. He left the opposition standing. Davidson, the flying Auckland League representative centre three-quarter, in last Wednesday’s Auckland v. Wellington match, demonstrated a turn of speed truly sensational. It' is doubtful if a faster three-quarter than the snowy-head-ed Aucklandor has been seen in action in Wellington during this season. For sheer pace he appears in a class by himself, and could show a clAin pair of heels to the fastest man playing in present Wellington Kugby.
