INDUSTRIAL UNITY
LABOUR RESOLUTION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 9. The Trades and Labour Council passed a resolution pledging itself to do everything possible to achieve national industrial unity by co-operation between the Trades and Labour Council and the Alliance of Labour; and that the proposals of the open conference convened hy the alliance provide for one industrial organisation and the basis of an organisation that will effectively bring about a higher social standard of living for New Zealand workers.
