NOT GOING TO ENGLAND
NEPIA DENIES RUMOUR WILL REPRESENT HAWKE’S BAY. Per Press Association. NAPIER, September 9. The report has again gained currency that Nepia, the, All Black and noted Hawke's Bay full-back, is going to England shortly under engagement to the Rugby League-Association. Questioned, Nepia contradicted the report, characterising it as groundless and unwarranted. Nepia will represent Hawke’s Bay at Westport on September 25th, and will also take part in the match Auckland v. Hawke’s Bay at Auckland on Saturday.
