POLAND AND GERMANY. j Published in "The Times.” 1 LONDON, July 2. The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says that the German Government has decided on a counter measure to Poland’s prohibition of the importation of German goods. It is pointed out that even apart from coal, the German market is at present more important to Poland than the Polish is to Germany, and in a reprisals contest Poland is likely to he the greater sufferer. On the other hand, it may he recalled that the late German boycott of Polish manufacturers merely fostered new industries in Poland.
