POLICEMAN KILLS MOTORIST
Murder charges were filed njrainst Motor-cycle Patrolman John C. Wiener, who shot and killed A 1 Brooks, alleged traffic violator, on a busy street corner in Houston, Texas. According 'to witnesses, Wiener accused Brooks of turning a corner without extending his arm and giving the signal required by a cit-v ordinance. Only one shot was fired. Wiener surrendered immediately and is being held by police.
