WORKMAN LOSES FINGERS
DAMAGES AWARDED. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Juno 18. In the Supreme Court, William McDermott, a young man, claimed dam. ages from Winstone’s Roofing and Tile Workij, Taumarunui, for the loss of fingers to being caught in machinery in tile defendant’s mill. He was awarded £199 special and £550 general damages.
