STREET PAVING
FOOTPATHS LAID DOWN. Footpath paying operations engross the attention of the city paving department. Thomdon quay and Taranaki street are receiving attention at the moment. Sheet asphalt is being put down, and other streets will receive attention as soon as these are finished. The department is concentrating on footpath work, and will put down new footpaths where necessary.
