STRENGTHENED TEAM

For fifteen years the Hutt Club fell from senior rank and it was only in tbo 1923 reason that it came back to the highest grade of Rugb-.- football, ft did so with a brilliant record in the junior grade. Rein foreemonts arc Wright, the Ponekc full-back of one eeason, who has re-

turned to hi* old club, and five men from afield; Grotty (Horowhenua threequarter), Reid (South Auckland threequarter), Synnott (Horowhenua forward), Dawson (West Coast forward), Mitchell (Nelson forward). There are some good men among these players and it is anticipated that the Valley will put out a team capable of extending all senior teams and beating a good man.v. Lower grade coaches are badly needed, and the club will relish every assistance .which can be given it.
