“W.G. AND RUGBY”
An amusing storv of W. G. Grace’s only game of Rugby was told *by Mr W. H- Brown, the Bristol umpire, ar the annual dinner of the Bcrininster Cricket Club. Mr Brown recalled that the famous cricketer, playing for tho opposition, received the ball, whereupon lie (the speaker) promptly tackled him rathpr heavily, and “W.G.” was brought to the ground.
