PEACEFUL USES
IRISH REPUBLICAN FUND. STATE TO REDEEM LOAN. (Sydney “Sun” Cabled LONDON, March 22. “The Catholic Herald” states that the Irish Free State has undertaken to redeem the 1927 bonds of £3,000,000, issued chiefly in the United States, to finance the Republican struggle. Bondholders will be asked to employ the money in financing various industrial enterprises in Ireland.
