PARTY PLANKS AND PLANS. LAST NIGHT'S MEETING. There was a crowded attendance of supporters of +he New Zealand Lal>our Party at the Empress Theatre last night, when several speakers outlined tho policy of the party, and criticised at length the operations of both the Government and Opposition. Mr T. Brinclle occupied the chair, and speakers included Messrs W. Nash (secretarv New Zealand Laboui Party), I*. Fraser, M.P., A. L. Mon* tieth*, M.P., R, McKocn, M.P., W. T. Young, W. Bromley (secretary, Trades Council), E. Kenuedy, R, Semplo and Mrs S. Snow. Speakers urged closer co-operation between the workers, in order that at the forthcoming general election Labour might return with a majority. “How to Win tho General Election.” was the subject on which speakers discoursed. and tho general opinion wa» that tho Reform Government was not doing all it could do for the* worker, while the Liberal Party was practically identical with the Governmcut in its methods.
