Norman Thorn, tho Orowborough poultry fanner, was:charged before, the CrowboTougb magistrates this after.noon with Ae- wilful murder of Elsie Cameron, the -London typist, who had: been missing for' a month, and whose body in Aree party- was. yesterday dug, up by Ae; police tinder Ae floor of the chicken /house of-- Thorn’s farm. When Thom was being removed from the dock on a week’s remand,- Chief Inspector Gillan intimated that Thom -had spoken to him concerning ‘ the statement .accused made to the detectives last nigjit. Bernard Spilsbury, Pathologist to the Home Office, spent four hours examining the remains of Elsie Cameron at Orowborough: ' Thom’s poußfv has been sold to the local dealer,. and his fox terrier - and two kittens have been destroyed.
