130 ENTRIEB, 820 PLAYERS y SECTIONAL PLAY OPENS TO-DAY. •For the rinks championship, the section play in connection with which Opens this .morning,. there are 130 entries involving no’fewer than 620 players., Eleven sections, 10 of 12 rinks and one of 10, have been arranged; /and two games a day will, Be played jby the competing rinks. The first ' round of ..the post-sectional play is I fixed for Friday morning next; and the i President’s Day function will be held I at the Wellington Bowling Club’s green on Friday afternoon, when the remaining and the final of the pairs championship will bp played. Post-sectional play in the rinks championship will be continued on Saturday, and as far into tho following week as may be necessary.
